Red Sox Free Agents –

The Red Sox made qualifying offers to free agents Stephen Drew, Jacoby Ellsbury, and Mike Napoli.  The qualifying offers are for one year at $14.1 million.  Jacoby Ellsbury hit .298 in the regular season and .344 in the postseason.

Red Sox starting pitcher Jon Lester will be back for at least one more season.  The Red Sox exercised a $13 million dollar option for the 2014 season.  Lester finished the 2013 season 15-8 with 177 strikeouts.

The Red Sox finished in first place of the American League East with 97 wins in the regular season.  The Red Sox won the 109th World Series and their 3rd World Series in the last 10 years.
