NFL 2013 Week 2 –

Matt Schaub led the Houston Texans to their second comeback victory in as many weeks.  Schaub threw for 298 yards and 3 touchdowns in their overtime win against the Titans.  Last week, the Texans came back from a 21 point deficit to the San Diego Chargers to win 31-28.

Jay Cutler threw for 290 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 31-30 win over the Vikings.  Cutler was 28 for 39 passing and threw a 16 yard touchdown pass with only 10 seconds left to play.  Cutler also led a fourth quarter comeback against the Bengals in the previous week.

Quarterbacks had a strong showing in week 2 with Aaron Rodgers posting the most solid numbers.  Rodgers threw for 480 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 38-20 win over the Washington Redskins.  Rodgers was 34 for 42 passing and completed passes to 6 different receivers in the game.  The Green Bay Packers are 1-1 on the season.

The New York Giants and New York Jets both lost in week 2 games.  The Jets lost to the New England Patriots 13-10 and the Giants fell to the Broncos 41-23.  Geno Smith had 3 fourth quarter interceptions for the New York Jets and was sacked 4 times in the game.  The injury plagued Patriots are 2-0 on the year.  In the Giants game, Denver quarterback Peyton Manning threw for 307 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Eli Manning threw for 1 touchdown and 362 yards for the Giants.
