Madison Bumgarner pitched eight shutout innings against the Texas Rangers in a 4-0 victory. Bumgarner only allowed three hits and gave the San Francisco Giants a 3-1 lead in a best of seven series. Brian Wilson came on in relief of Bumgarner to close the door on the Rangers.
