Strasburg Ligament Tear –

Stephen Strasburg was recently placed on the DL and it doesn’t look good for the Nationals.  Strasburg may need Tommy John surgery on his throwing arm and is likely to miss the 2011 season.  Strasburg set a league record with 41 strikeouts in his first four starts.  He also filled the stadium for the Washington Nationals which is not an easy thing to do for a losing team.  Strasburg is one of the best pitching prospects in decades and he showed control of his 100 mph fastball.
