The Starting 9 –

The Starting 9 is a regular article on ESPN that covers Major League Baseball.  A recent Starting 9 article discusses the need for teams to monitor the number of innings pitched by their young starters.  This issue has gained more attention since Strasburg was placed on the DL for the second time.  The pitchers that are focused on in the article are on contenders who will have to play competitive ball at the same time that they limit innings for star pitchers.
