Texas A & M Heading To SEC –

On Tuesday, the Southeastern Conference voted to accept Texas A & M as their 13th member.  Texas A & M may still need approval from all the teams in the Big 12.  The Big 12 consists of only ten teams after the departure of Nebraska and Colorado.  Texas A & M had already announced that it planned to leave the Big 12 by July 2012.  The addition of A & M would give the SEC a recruiting and television presence in the state of Texas.
