Lester Wins 10th For Red Sox –

Jon Lester picked up win number 10 on the year with a 5-2 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies.  Lester pitched 7 strong innings and did not give up an earned run on the day.  The win helped the Red Sox avoid being swept by the Phillies in the mid-week series.  The Phillies had another strong left hander on the mound in Cole Hamels.  Hamels sustained an injured and had to leave the game early.  Hamels was also going for his tenth win of the season.  The Red Sox and Phillies are two of the top candidates to make it to the World Series this season.
