Stanford defeated Virginia Tech 40-12 to win the Orange Bowl. Andrew Luck tossed four touchdowns and threw for 287 yards in the victory. Stanford will finish the season in the top five for the first time since their 1940 squad went undefeated and finished second. The Stanford Cardinals only lost one game all season.
