The Texas Rangers are headed to their first ever World Series appearance after defeating the New York Yankees. The 6-1 victory in game six allows the Rangers to start Cliff Lee in game one of the World Series. Cliff Lee can pitch at least two games against the winner of the Phillies-Giants series.
