Dillon Gee had a strong major league debut against the Washington Nationals. Gee allowed on two hits and had three strikeouts in a 4-1 victory. Gee also had a no-hitter going into the sixth inning of the game and only threw 86 pitches in the game. The performance by Gee is a bright spot for the Mets who are sitting in fourth place a few games above the Nationals.
