Brett Favre’s ankle is still in question after he tewisted it in the Jets Monday night loss. Favre has started 256 straight regular season games. He has been considered indestructable but with the Jets luck who knows.

Knicks To Dump Marbury –

The New York Knicks are getting ready to dump Marbury in his last year of the contract. If the Knicks decide to waive Marbury they can negotiate the buyout and Marbury can look for another team. The Marbury years have not been all that good for the Knicks.

Beckett Is Back –

The Red Sox have activated beckett, Lowell, and Casey. All three players are essential to the success of the Red Sox. Beckett hasn’t pitched since August 17th and is ready to take the hill.

Mets Rally –

The Mets had another come from behind victory and this time it came at the expense of the Braves. A five run rally in the 8th helped the Mets take their 10th game in the last 13. With the win the Mets are now 1 1/2 games ahead of the Phillies their division.

A three run homerun for the Twins finished the Yankees road trip and is a signal of things to come. The Yankees completed a 10 game road trip which saw them drop 7 of the games. The Yankee tradition of making the playoffs is in doubt with their continued poor performance.

Chinese divers are now 2-0 after winning the first two golde medals for diving in the olympics. China has become a superpower in the world of diving at a time when America has lost its shine in the field. Jets Land Favre –

Brett Favre has joined the J-E-T-S. In a shocker of a deal the Jets have acquired a future Hall of Fame quarterback. Favre will be making $12 million for the season and fans hope that will pay dividends in the playoffs. In the end, the Jets offensive line is going to have to step-up if Favre has a chance of being effective.

Brett Favre Returns –

The NFL and the Green Bay Packers are getting ready for the return of Brett Favre to the NFL. His return from retirement will set off a battle for the starting quarterback position between him and Aaron Rodgers.
