Phoenix Zone In Spotlight –

The Phoenix Suns used their zone defense to shut down the Lakers in game three of the series.  Game four in Phoenix will be another test for the zone and for the Lakers offense.  If the Suns defense holds up it could signal a change in defensive strategy across the NBA.  The NBA allowed the zone defense in the 2001-2002 season and it may finally be integrated in a playoff teams strategy.
